V8 90
I had an Op on my left shoulder last Monday - I couldn't lift my left arm above my head, put my belt through my trousers etc - 1 week on, it's much much easier already ! Physio starts tomorrow & will be able to drive again mid/late this week.
kyska
Just taking gabapentin and had to beg for them. I have tried excercising but orthopedic surgeon said it was a waste of time. Hcc Why are you not taking pain relief in the more conventional form. Gabapentin seems an odd choice for MS pain, but if it works.... kyska
Well, such things as anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or diclofenac, along with opiates and paracetamol.Gabapentin is very good for 'nervy' pain, but the analgesic properties are more of a side effect, its actual use is as an anti-epileptic. It does work very well is some people mind.....Have you seen a pain management nurse? Edited November 25, 2013 by kyska

V8 90
I've been for my first Physio session today following my Op last week - I've regained 90% of the movement in my left arm already ! Well worth having it done
