gsmith
Hi all After some advise please, i have two female jills that are comming up a year old now , i got the ferrets as i wanted to work them, however im being a wimp all i think is what if i put them down the hole and loose them?? I havent bought ferret finder yet but 100% would before putting ferret in a hole. just wondered what other peoples first experience with this was, did the ferrets come running back? loose them? or have to dig them out?? Thanks Gavin

Cranfield
First time out, find a small open earth where you can see all the holes, make sure you net every hole. Only enter one ferret at a time, otherwise they may play. Don't work them too long, as they will get tired quickly. Go early, then you have the time to sit and wait for them, if necessary. Once they get the hang of it, they will show at every hole and walk out when there is nothing at home.
