I use 12v 7ah on my 100w lamp I get them from Tool Station £15 free p&p.

I do shot from the car a lot so i use the cig lighter in the 4x4 with the engine running it`s a lot brighter.

If you google it there`s a chart that will tell you how long a 12v 7ah will last with 100watts pulling out of it.

I worked it out when i was using a 55w lamp and it was 12v 7ah at 55w pulling out of it = 4 hours.

I bet the 12ah battery was an heavy sod i walk about with.

Hi guys.

I have list my battery for my lamp, it was a 12v 12ah and was great with my 100w lamp. My question is will there be much difference if I buy one or two new ones with a lower ah?

Cheers. T.

I'm not following that, forgetting any specific individual efficiency the battery life will be measured in AH against the draw, therefore if you get a 7 or 9ah battery it will last proportionally less time against the same draw. I don't believe there are 6ah available, (I may be wrong) but if you got for example 2 x 7ah they should last that bit longer, in total!
