wadingin
I live near Chorley and still looking to put the dog onto the real thing to hopefully finish his training before trying him out on more formal shoots.Regards Wadingin
kent
Has this dog experience on the real thing without anyone carrying a gun? ie.. is it sitting to flush without a whistle or command on Game birds, rabbit and hare?
wadingin
Worked well in rabbit pen flushing and on stop whistle also drops to shot
kent
Dog needs to stop to flush without any command prior to getting the gun out, in the open. Get it away from the pen and among the rabbits etc in the open before the gun comes out

kent
Thanks for the advice do you work your dogs.regards Wadingin Yes, just saying its not about one trip most wont welcome you back if your dog starts coursing stuff- they invariably will " first time in the open" and with stuff being shot it will probably lean to run in on the same day if your not quite on it yet. Find some ground without the gun first IMO

BRNDL
If you fall short of offers I live in Chorley and can certainly help you out with half a days beating with the dog. I actually live in Heath Charnock.
