spoony
I would zero either calibre for 40yds which gives you a initial zero at around 10yds. I would suggest to someone who is just starting out to zero a .22 at 30yds and a .177 at 35 yds. Whilst I am not questioning your ability WP it would be easier for range estimation for a novice at those ranges. Just my opinion well off to pick up my gun now will post some pics later,
arjimlad
I've only just looked at this thread - hope you enjoy your gun ! Being a simple soul, I always thought that the reason that carbines usually give less shots than full length rifles, was because they usually have a smaller air cylinder, which being smaller, contains less air. I'm sure a scientific type will be along sometime soon, but I did like Axe's explanation too. Let us see your pride and joy when you get it home. BTW I like .22 too, for bunnies etc it does the job. Cyber
I have got the AGS Vipir 4-16x50 and so far I am more than impressed, its awesome too say the least. It is so clear and the mill dots seem to be appropriately spaced although some others have said they are not positioned apart very well? I am impressed though Hope you like your new rifle mate! My mate loves his Superten and although i mentioned earlier about the accuracy, I have seen his groupings and they are not bad atall.
