bignotti side by side 12g

Hi guys I bought the above gun from a pigeon watch member and im not 100% sure on chamber length and cant see any marks or stamps on it anywhere apart from..... Stars on the barrels for chokes. A 12 on the underside=12 guage a proof mark then PSF .then XIX then what looks like FINED stamped on the barrels. Any help would be appreciated thanks all

Hi just sold my bignotti to someone else off here,cant help much but i think the XIX is a date 1963?i think?

Think 2 3/4 sure it said on the barrels chamber length

Thats where I thought it would be but can't see it on there! Im pretty sure it's 2 3/4 but I thought they made a 3" version

you need a chamber gauge , or a bit of 19mm wooden dowell to put into breech of a gun you know is 70 mm and when it hits the forcing cone mark it with a pencil

Then when you put it in bignotti if it comes up to the mark its 70 mm if not its 65 mm
