luckytrigger
I tried out my new 'flapper' today and must say i was very impressed. I shot over a field ive not really had much success with in the past and in an hour and a half manged to shoot 10 crows, 1 magpie and a pidgeon.. I missed a few easy shots too but think that was probably down to a few too many pints of Worthingtons last night Will post pics soon. Dave K I didnt drive. My 'vit' was getting an mot (failed on wiper blades and a loose exhaust mount..) so the wife dropped me off at my closest shoot which is only 4 miles from the house. sutty
Nice bag, Luckytrigger. I rate the Flapper better than the magnet but thats just my opinion, i will now put on my hard hat and await replies. I bought the flapper after a lot of thought about whether i should go with a magnet or a flapper. Im glad i went with the flapper.. i also bought a intermittent timer off e**y which seems to do the trick.. It has definatley improved my crow shooting. invector
I'm with you Sutty. I would rather use my flapper than my magic roundabout, any day. You can take off your hard hat now. :yp:
caeser
Looks like its almost unanimous then. I've got a magnet thats just rusting away in the shed now. I've got two flappers both with intermittent timers and I think they are superb, for pigeon and crows. (I never had a lot of joy with the magnet, in fact sometimes I think it scared the pigeons off.) Will_Rimmer_
Anyone still use the flappers that are pulled by a string, for roost shootin?
