Shotgun Repair Times

Thought it may be of interest if anyone who had a fault with their shotgun which ment it had to go back to the seller / maker for repair how long it took and what model of gun involved and problem

 

Say from New to three / four year old guns

I bought a beretta ultralight gold new an after a month the automatic safety would come on after the first barrel had shot took a week to get back an found art the metal what went to the safety button was to long and on the recoil of the first shot it was catching the arm an knocking the safet button back to safe the metal had to be cut down to the safety 20 pound

Am i reading your post correctly,you bought it new and after a month you had to return it and they charged you £20 for the remedial work,if thats the case its a cracking advert for beretta :whistling::no:

Instead of messing around sending it to gmk had rather get o local gunsmith to do it for 20 quid rather than mess about

I always buy from gunsmiths my dealer/gunsmith is a premium beretta dealer and for small jobs like yours he sorts it in his own workshop under the guarantee .I would always advise anyone to travel the extra few miles and visit shops with on site workshops as a salesman is only interested in profit and will in most cases not have answers to questions about the build of guns.
