Mazi
Hi Gents, I have an o/u Baikal with the following engraving on the barrels 12 - 70 900KG on the side On the Bottom it has 65 MPa. There are markings (top side of the barrels) as seen in the photo which when I used a Vernier Gauge to measure it comes to 65mm. I had this gun since 2010 and I was sure it is 70 mm chamber and have been using 70mm cartridges but now when I saw the measurement I got a bit confused especially with the 65 Mpa marking but I believe that is supposed to be the service pressure. Are these external markings relevant?
shaun4860
I would say that the 12-70 is the important part I think it means 12gauge, 70mm chamber, Of course thats not gospel What model is it?

Jim_gsxr1000
The 65Mpa is nothing to do with the dimensions it's the pressure rating it means 65 mega pascals
HDAV
It will have CIP proof marks the 12-70 is the important bit meaning 12 gauge 70mm cartridges.
Paul223
Yeah 70 mm Looks like you've measured to the end of the mono block which the barrels are sleeved into
