eddoakley
Anyone using one every day? The mrs does a fair amount of milage in the current car but in an effort to cutdown on the number of vehicles we have I am considering a freelander for her daily drive and my occasional use. Looking at around 2001-2004 I guess and the 2.o diesel (bwm engine???) what sort of mpg are you getting? Whats the general opinion? ferguson_tom
We had a 04 plate HSE diesel and mrs used it everyday for work, very comfy motor and she used to average low 30s but that was a lot of traffic work and she has a big right foot. neil3728
I have a 11 plate, I use as my main car, covering around 25,000 per year. Very comfy car, but had a few niggles with mine so it's going back just before the warranty expires.
Fib new
I use a td4 automatic as a work car. Some minor probs, but nothing major. Had a few freelanders in the past abd have to say the td4 is the best engine overall.
superspark
I had a freelander 2 2008 2 years ago and had nothing but trouble with it. In 20,000 miles had 3 clutches fitted along with other major parts that cost me almost £4,000. This was the second landrover I have had but never again, what a load of ****. on top of all that their customer relations suck big time. Be warned, stay well clear.
