You have to register with a scrap merchant now thou and its either paid into your account direct or given a cheque. But it will be worth it. Not only that old cooper cylinders tend to be made of thicker cooper and the coils tend to be heavier aswell. Started at 10 am and left at 5.30 pm. Any idea what I would get in scrap for the old boiler and a few copper pipes? For the tank you should get £60 scrap, but this depends on how old it is.
