hi anyone use remote control pigeon magnet sold by a1 decoys thinking of buying one comes with 12v 4amp battery how many hours would it last on it any reviews would be helpful thanks

They are not bad mate. They are designed for dead birds, but we do have some foam pigeons that fit on the end. It will last you about 3 hours once you have worn the battery in, but you can easily upgrade the battery. Hope this helps.

I tried a remote for a while but it was a pain, having to start it every time you see a few pigeons coming, half the time the birds were over the decoys before I saw them and no time to start the magnet, just get a decent battery and a couple of hypaflaps or similar, very light decoys will give you a much longer battery run, my 7 amp lasts about 5 hours even on very windy days , if its running continuously you dont have to think about it, and invariably its those odd birds you wouldnt have seen that will come floating in unexpectedly,

I find magnets either work well or scare them off, on a bad day, bring the magnet in and get a couple of flappers and floaters out, its all about changing patterns and decoys to suit the mood of the birds on the day,:yes:
