Alycidon Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 While we have the current level of avian raptors partridges will not be worth doing. The BIG partridge shoots release in late July and a second batch 2 weeks later then shoot from early Sept onwards, this gets them shot before the hawks etc wipe them out. We tried them in big (500) numbers maybe 10 years ago, returns were about 15% and we were right on top of vermin, birds of prey excepted.
