postie Posted February 9, 2014 Report Share Posted February 9, 2014 when I done mine I removed the blocks above were i was going cut the door, first put the frame of new door against the wall marked it out allowing a inch or so around I wet the blocks first with a hose pipe to try and keep dust down didn't help much put the new lintel in place on some slate first the moter around then reblocked above lintel when dried. just thought it was easier to remove blocks from above first a mate of mine hired a cutter that had a water supply running thro it as it cut it was a bit messy but a lot better than all that dust everywhere and as for the rugby I had a wooden garden fence to take down that had part blown over taken a sleage to it didn't really need too but it made me feel a little better Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
