Welping boxes

So looks like am gonna have a busy march took me spaniel to a stud dog an looks lik she is defiantly in pup but it's looking like there's been an accident and my lab is also in pup had intended to use the 2 labs together but not at the same time as the spaniel was in pup so has anyone got any welping box plans or pictures to give me an idea what's best looking like am building 2

I bought a large sheet of 4mm mdf from homebase and had all the measurments and a pencil in my pocket. I marked it out in store and got them to do all the main cuts on site.

I used a double slot type joint for the corners and the square then simply sat on top of the base. I personaly split the base and hinged it for easy transport as we were between houses.

Finally, be sure you can re-attach the cut out sections (even with tape) as the pups soon start getting out! All in all, didn't cost any more than the MDF sheet asnd as can of paint.

Granted, in the second picture you can see some of the joints have broken off a bit, but it still worked fine

Yeah that's the idea, but we took them out after a week or so as the puppy's themselves ended up stuck by them. I was impressed with how easy the slot together fitting worked. And it all folded flat! But like al4x says, you have to start getting creative to keep them in. We began with cardboard extra high edges taped on and moved onto a set of stair gate style pen
