cpaulc
I bought a large sheet of 4mm mdf from homebase and had all the measurments and a pencil in my pocket. I marked it out in store and got them to do all the main cuts on site. I used a double slot type joint for the corners and the square then simply sat on top of the base. I personaly split the base and hinged it for easy transport as we were between houses. Finally, be sure you can re-attach the cut out sections (even with tape) as the pups soon start getting out! All in all, didn't cost any more than the MDF sheet asnd as can of paint. Hope this helps Hope this helps Granted, in the second picture you can see some of the joints have broken off a bit, but it still worked fine
ian g
That's great cheers mate the bars on the first pic I take it are to stop the mum rolling on the pups did you find these bars worked ok
al4x
I had a big box borrowed from a friend and it was great, the bars round it were 40mm white plastic waste pipe and it worked a treat. Adjustable and I kept them in it till 8weeks though did have to get creative to keep them in by the end
cpaulc
Yeah that's the idea, but we took them out after a week or so as the puppy's themselves ended up stuck by them. I was impressed with how easy the slot together fitting worked. And it all folded flat! But like al4x says, you have to start getting creative to keep them in. We began with cardboard extra high edges taped on and moved onto a set of stair gate style pen
