The Perazzi Experience - anyone done it?

Chrome is used to cover a multitude of milling/production sins. The barrel walls do not need to be perfectly smooth when chrome is used as the chrome acts like a levelling compound - ironically, a rough surface allows the bonding to be better. If you speak to Perazzi, they will tell you that properly made barrels will me mirror smooth and don't need to be chromed ;) I think it was a bit of a dig at other manufacturers :good:
