FatherandSon
If I were to start reloading and making my own shot, does it matter where the leaf comes from? Can it be scrap lead as we can pick up 1000's of .303 bullets from our local beach with a metal detector. Plus my neighbour is a roofer and I can buy it off him! rem708
collect the 303 bullets Not only will you get the lead out but also you can sell the copper - win win situation (not to mention your contribution to reducing copper pollution which is very toxic to fish and molluscs)
FatherandSon
I was surprised how little there was in a .303 but like I say, in a day we can pick 1000's
fruitloop
just be carful when you are melting the bullets if you found them near water don't put a wet one in molten lead ....
