100milesaway
It may have escaped most peoples notice that yet again, whilst the powers that be do nothing at least our farmers look after each other. Mount Farm at Wooley Edge near Wakefield have had to cancel their FITASC shoot this Sunday, due to waterlogged ground, but in the meantime owner Phil Rowbottom and near neighbour Andrew Nicholson are driving the 225 miles with 2 tractors with trailers ladden with livestock fodder and bedding to give help to Somerset Farm Aid. A big pat on the back to you 2 for doing something possetive unlike our Goverment. from Auntie. This should probably be in off topic, If one of the mods sees it maybe you could move it for me. Ta. Markr
well done on them 2 for helping others. if they wait for this government to help theyd be waiting a long time. funny isn't it the UK sends billions to other countrys when they have disasters not heard of any such offers coming back our way over the flooding. you have to feel for all the farmers whos land is under water and some have only just got their land sorted after last years flooding.
