bay firearms
I just brought a load of stuff from siarm.com, icludung a load of B&P Z21 wads (for 32g lead loads) and Z18 wads (for 36g leads loads). on comparing the 2, the Z18 wad has roughly the same size shot cup as the Z21, but the overall length is a mm or 2 shorter. The bags were hand written on each as to what's in what, have Siarm got it the wrong way round or am I missing something?? Also, both shot cups seem very small in comparison to others I have (rem fig 8 for 32g lead). Any ideas???
Guest cookoff013
Why are you buying the fig8 wad?
bay firearms
I didn't buy them, its some I had left over from a few years ago which I used for comparison.
wigeon jim
Sounds about right to me, your 36 gram wads will be a mm or two shorter to allow for the bigger load, Jim.
bay firearms
So the extra shot doesn't sit inside the wad, its on top, and the wad being shorter allows for this and leaving enough space for the crimp??
deershooter
The shot cup is the same size on Z18 Z21 Z24 the leg length is different with larger loads the shot sits outside the shot cup Z21 are also good for 1 oz loads in 67 mm cases Deershooter
