hatsanmad
Hi all just stripped my hw90. To reblue and change all the seals. Now this is fitst time i stripped a air rifle. I polished the piston polished inside of the cylinder. And took off all the old dirty grease. Now what sort of moly grease do i need to relube everything up with? Have thought about the bisley moly grease but is it good enough? Any reccomendations?
kent
You need different grades for different places inside to be 100% correct, though as you mention can suffice for your purposes.
hatsanmad
I understand that but what would be the main one needed? I know that the floating inertia o rings and strut need something diffrent. But is bisley moley good enough for piston chamber and piston? Fabhui
You need both moly grease and moly slide.
FalconFN
I have used the Abbey maintenance kit, from J Ramsbottom, before and that was fine. You get 5 or 6 small tubes or various greases and oils which is just enough to service a spring rifle - I think it was about a tenner.
