Andra
Purchased a pair of Le Chameau Mouflon 4 gtx on the 7th Jan and have worn about once a week since. I was dissapointed to see yesterday that on one of the boots the rubber rand was coming away at the bend of my foot!! First time I have spent nearly £200 on boots so not impressed. Now have to pack them up and send back to the retailer which will also cost. Thought this might be worth sharing on the forum as I read a bit online before I bought these and was either going to go Meindle dovre pro or Lowa tibet....... Think I have made the wrong choice on this occasion.
SSS
I read a lot of reviews and spoke to people before I spent my pennies. Glad I went with the Lowa Tibets though. I've had my first pair for 18 months now. I had a problem with the sole last October, they were posted off to LSR and returned within 2 weeks with new soles on. Can't argue with Lowa's customer services and aftercare. I've got 2 pairs now, they've both had equally as much hammer and use and I love them. Never given me blisters or sores. Great boots and I would buy another pair tomorrow if I needed them. Edited March 3, 2014 by SSS

Essex Keeper
My le chameau vierzonord lasted 2weeks since buying them they spent more time back at the shop :(
SSS
The wellies do appear to be better than their boots. I had a pair of chameau wellies for about 12 months but they were too tight on my legs so they were incredibly uncomfortable.
Guest rimotu66
I think Chammy quality has gone south in the last few years, you only have to look at the labels to see where they are made, definitely a case of brand name selling, quite a few 'quality' brands seem to have gone the same way, quality down-prices up. Andra
Well thats them sent back to the retailer now at a cost of just under 13 quid! Will update on progress.......... Have to agree with rimotu66 quality of these dont seem to be great if thats what happens inside of 2 months of very light use.

Andra
Quick update on these......... had them back repaired for a couple of months. In May they burst at the repaired site and at the other side of the foot. Sent back to the retailer for a full refund so all in all a very bad experience regarding le cham's. Lowa hunter extremes will replace them.
