Underdog
Yep I keep trying to find a fox for my muzzleloaders! It has to be close so imagine my delight when sneaking through a thick wood on an old trail I cut nearly ten years ago and cresting a rise....slowly, I spy a face looking my way! Through the twigs I make out the red face and the white under the jaw. I pause and there it is, a twitch of the nose confirms it, it is a fox and only thirty yards. The stand off began! Eventually not sure who was on it's patch it made a move to investigate, 25yds, at 20yds it cleared some brash, I called a muted `oi`, it stops perfectly side on and POP! Ahhhrrrrr a mis-fire! Off it runs! I have not had a mis-fire for ages So errr, I'll keep trying Anyway, I wondered what the rabbits see sometimes! Undermuppet.
