luckytrigger
I didnt have much spare time last night so nipped to a small shoot just up the road from me. I shot these four after spotting a group of eight on a field that normally produces nothing. Not many i know but it was nice to get out

stevethevanman
The more I read threads like these the more I want a HMR, made a mess of the top 2 bunnys faces, what ammo were you using.

A mess of the head usually indicates a clean kill

Danger Mouse
I was out last night too with my mate , as a coinsidence we also got 4, 2 with the .22 rimmy and 2 with the .17HMR.. took the longer shots with the hmr both about 100yds. They drop like a stone, don't even twitch, if your looking to get a new rimmy get a .17HMR.. downside is that bit extra noise, but it does'nt seem to bother the bunnies at 100+ yds. luckytrigger
Must be the .17hmr then, really should get out with mine more often. ALex Yes Alex i was using the .17. Im putting 17 grain Hornady v-max through it which seem to group the best for me although remmies are good to. The top two were shot at 60-65yds, that little round causes some serious damage to bunnies craniums  I was out last night too with my mate , as a coinsidence we also got 4, 2 with the .22 rimmy and 2 with the .17HMR.. took the longer shots with the hmr both about 100yds. The rabbits i shot last night were all in the same small area and shot within a a couple of minutes.
