Google will find better results if you spell it correctly... PHoton. As for the dot in the reticle, it obscures an adult rabbit head at about 130 yards - you will find it very good for air and rimfire, and it works well with low power ir LED illuminators such as a 501b at those ranges. It has a very shallow depth of focus because there is no iris, you can make a cap with a hole in it - or buy one of mine: The first was recorded before I learned about the iris issues.
