crosswaters
Just made 4 lofting cradles for decoys placed in trees, the question I ask should I stop the decoy swivelling about in the wind or should I fix them to the cradle to stop this. At the moment I've got one hung outside and the decoys has lots of movement and always faces away from the wind direction due to the profile of the decoy shape. When lofted would this look normal to live pigeons. Your advice please.
Christopher Polumbos
If you mean spinning round in circles, I would say fix them, but a little movement is natural, but not if they are disco dancing!! Good luck
hawkfanz
I made 10 lofting hooks but mine are a tight fit on peg they swing to an fro good, but they don't turn around
Bluebarrels
Just increase the size of the peg the decoy sits on with electrical tape so you get a nice snug push fit if the decoys move freely on the lofting hook, you might have problems with them falling off whilst you're trying to loft them BB
