If I oil my Gun before I put it in the cabinet, what would be the point of this product?

Or will this allow the gun to be put away 'Dry'?

Cant quite get the point of this.

Anyone have any facts?

I use a sachet of it in my cabinets - for the cost, if it saves one bit of rust forming then well worth it

Ah ! Inside the locks etc.

Now I didn't think of that, yes then it would be worthwhile.

i oil mine well before they go in the safe but i still have one just in case.. my gun gets a regular soaking when fowling and as station said for the cost its no point risking it

Now then, I'm not sure of your age, its actually irrelevant, but I'll try and explain.

In the olden days when you used to go to the old fashioned "barber's" the type that had the red and white wurly thingy that was supposed to represent the blood on the towel's from blood letting ( sorry diverting off topic) were was I,,, yes, vp90. After you'd had you're short back and side's you were asked if you wanted cream on it, or sometimes spray ;-). Well vp90 is much the same, it just puts the top on and it smells beautiful too. I aways put some on mine. ;-)
