Foxwit
Hi, Anyone know what a rough cost would be to get a .22lr barrel shortened threaded re crowned and re proofed?
Bewsher500
no more than £50 if you shop around save time by providing just a barrelled action to the gunsmith mark where the end of the forestock comes to on the barrel (from experience!) you do not need it reproofed
rtaylor
I paid £25 but didn't bother to get it proofed. I think I was told proofing it was £80 on it's own. Hence why I didn't bother. Like above you don't need it proofed if you aren't going to sell it.
Foxwit
If I don't get I proffed then doesn't that make it hassle in the long?
Dekers
If I don't get I proffed then doesn't that make it hassle in the long? This has been debated many a time and should be pinned. You do not need it re proofed to sell it. http://jacksonrifles.com/zz-silencers/proofcounsel.htm
