You want a swivel model for field use - I have the 9-13 which is great, and I will probably get the 12-25 at some point for sitting shots. Cheers AndyCM
dazzyboi
So you would reccomend the 9-13, as i said most of my shooting will either be done sitting, or lying prone, then if im walking i will detatch the bipod.
kip270
Save your money Dazzi and make some like these Grand total= 5.
Peter_HMR
Andys 100% right the bipod just catchs on the the swivel studs and is tightned up against the stock doesnt no damage and no modification is needed. A sling can still be attached with a bipod on as well I just bought a Harris model S L off opticswarehouse for 59 (69 if you have to pay vat) best price i could find ebay was a little cheaper but not much. i would go for the 9-13" also for prone i've no experience with the larger ones but i think the 6-9 is to short for prone and suited to bench shooting. I made a pair of homemade sticks before but they're just not as good or handy as the harris its right there when you need it no messin about either. JohnGalway
Have a Harris also, 9-13" model, no swivel although I'd like to try one, also no leg notches. They're very well made, got a Butler Creek sling last week and it just clips onto the bipod which itself clips onto your sling stud. Makes life a lot easier

pin
When I was looking at a CZ american the other day it had studs fitted already and was threaded for a mod already. Talking to the owner he said they have been coming like that for a while now as standard..
Peter_HMR
Pretty much any gun now adays will have sling swivel studs fitted and most are coming threaded as well. Olly i was very tempted to buy the ridge rockmount bipods ive had one before and could find nothing wrong with it worked very well i just find that everyone is buying the harris and it has to be that little bit better also it will hold its value as well. This is the sort of thing you buy once and you have it forever as it can be swapped from gun to gun in a few seconds so i dont think the extra 10-20 pounds is to much to pay
