Ian D
Hi Kirky, get yourself over to Duns on the first weekend in March and take a look at the Muddy Truckers Trophy. It's a 3 day extreme challenge event to make your eyes water. The event is full but it'll be a top weekend to see the best UK teams in action. http://www.muddytruckers.co.uk/ Regards, Ian. Ian D
nice pics ian thats wot its all about !! kirky The event is teams of 2 vehicles and 4 crew and the format changes each year. Last year Each section was limited to 20 mins to complete. Points were awarded depending how far you got in the given time. Like a big trial but you were allowed winches, stopping, shunting etc. None of the sections would be driveable without. There was also a 3hr punch hunt in a forest. The terrain ranged from a rock quarry, a bog, a big gully through a wood, an open moor, and a night section on very icy forest roads. All good fun but hard on vehicles. 20 teams took part, but not all finished. We also get teams over from Holland and Belgium. Regards, Ian.
