steve_b_wales
I remember reading somewhere that you can remove something from the above trimmer to reduce the interior chamfering of neck, but now I can't find it. Any ideas?
phaedra1106
It's the spacer ball, you remove it if you're trimming cases with smaller neck diameters like 204/222/223 etc. The instructions for doing this are included with the relevant Quick Trim dies. If using the Deluxe Quick Case Trimmer, the chamferblades may cut too aggressively on this small calibrecase as spring pressure is optimized for a .30 cal caseneck. To reduce chamfer spring pressure, remove cutterassembly from crank and remove the 3/8" spacer ball.Don't lose the ball.you need it for larger calibres.
