Russell
Any idea where I can get a replacement fore end for my FIAS ? It looks exactly the same as the Browning Medallist. I only really need the wood as mine has developed a small split.
Gordon R
Russell - use wood glue and save yourself the expense. Decent wood glue will be stronger than the original.

Russell
I've put some glue on it now & it all seems solid enough, but I was hoping to px this gun for a browning 525, but it was the gunshop that noticed the crack in the first place - its only a hairline crack less than an inch long where one of the screws go into it, but because of this they didn't want to take it in a part ex , so thought I'd see if I could find one cheap enough anywhere. It's not worth a load of money, so maybe I'll end up keeping it as a spare ??
Gordon R
I wish gun shops were as alert when they sell. I was sold a Browning B125 FI with a crack in the forend. Cost a lot of money and it was there when they bought it.

Hi, now thats strange, I have a fias o/u and it has a fine split on the fore end, weird or what? D2D
Russell
No longer got the gun now   , but it seems to be a fairly common fault on the FIAS & the Medallist - it's the first place any gun dealer looks at.
