pigeonblasterian
Met up this morning with a couple of pw members for a go at the pigeons. It looked as though we might be in for a decent day as on arrival at the farm there were a few on the peas. We set up in different fields to keep any pigeons moving about if we could. It started off well for the pw members as they shot five pigeons in the first ten minutes. But it was not to last and it then slowed down. There were a good few birds around but all they seemed to want to do was sit in the trees. A few did start to fly around but were not too interested in the decoys. Still it was a nice day out and enough birds were flying around to keep us on our toes. Thing is we all enjoyed the day out. We ended up with a total of, 24 woodpigeon 2 ferals 4 crows 1 rook 1 jackdaw
Paul T
Always a pleasure to shoot with fellow PW members and Ian was the perfect host. What can I say other than it was a grand day out - my mad cocker and me enjoyed it immensely. Cheers
