bicykillgaz
Hi Does anyone know where I can get a scope serviced for sensible money? Just got a secondhand meopta Artemis 3-12x50 I think it needs a service and re gassing as it looks dull optically and the reticle looks grey rather than black. I've got a quote off marchwoods but I'm not in a position to be paying £175 for a service on top of what I've already paid for the scope. If I can't find somewhere more sensibly priced I'll just sell it and take a hit on it. Cheers Gary

moor man
Gary, try these people; Glasgow Binocular Repairs. Had a problem with a lovely pair of Swift Audubons a while back, after lots of hunting round found these people. Good rep and used to dealing with scopes. Good luck with the scope (love my old meopta 6x42) ATB MM. Edited June 4, 2014 by moor man
bicykillgaz
Cheers moor man I'll give them a try. I love my meopta 6x42 too I picked this up with the intentions of saving it to go on a .223 if I ever find the funds. I doubt I'll keep it though as I've discovered I don't like first focal plane reticles. I'll probably just get it serviced and sell it then find another 6x42 and save a few quid instead.
