dadrew
Yeah, got granted my FAC! I now have my eye on a: Good condition BRNO model 2 bolt action rifle in .22LR calibre. Beech pistol grip stock fitted with a slim ebonite heel plate. Blued 24" barrel and action which has been screw cut 1/2"UNF and comes complete with a Parker Hale sound moderator. The rifle has been fitted with a Kassnar 4x32mm scope using Sportsmatch double screw mounts. Manual safety catch, detachable five shot single stack magazine. Its advertised at £275 but I can have it £245, can anyone tell me if this is any good please?
steve_b_wales
I had a BRNO Model 2E for 18 years, and it was 2nd hand when I bought it. Never failed me once, and very accurate. I fired 1000's of bullets through it, and never cleaned inside the barrel.
Berettacocker
Sounds ok, second hand Brnos are quite cheep anyway. Used to use Kassnar scopes in the mid eighties on my air guns and were pretty good, but you'd probably be better with a 3-9x40 mag. Have a look about first , there will be lots of Brno 22 LR outfits for sale for that money. Good luck
NathanM
With a 24" barrel and mod, you'll be able to poke the rabbits with it!
