Would you be willing to sell just the Blacksun IR pill?
  2. That's great thanks, found it! Much easier when you can use just a common negative from the power!
  3. Hi, I have made my own NV unit, but am now working towards making it more compact. I have managed to salvage a viewfinder from an old video recorder, and powered it up, but have no idea which wires are for video. When stripping back the cable connecting the viewfinder to the main housing, I have found nine individual wires! As it turns out the red and orange are for power, but if anyone has any idea about which would be for video it would be greatly appreciated! I've attached a link to a picture of the wires. Thanks, Nathan http://i.imgur.com/FqT6DL0.jpg
  4. I have a Thermos Ultimate flask and this seems to keep things hot for absolutely ages!
  5. I have a MTC Viper 4-16x50 on my airwolf and absolutely love it! Seems some people don't like them as much, but love the ballistic turrets and find the clarity of the glass very good!
  6. Good point, like all the NHS lanyards and things that open if so much force is applied. Might be a good idea to ensure that the lanyards do actually break if body weight or similar is put on them... But are still strong enough not to break if snagged?
  7. I think it tends to be: 1 notch for full choke 2 for 3/4 choke 3 for 1/2 choke 4 for 1/4 choke And 5 for open choke
  8. Mine's quieter Evo, I don't hear it hitting the target! But I have the same, air wolf with mk 6 reflex and find it very quiet. I did compare it using a couple of other mods a while ago and think it was quieter, can't really remember now! Out of interest, is there much of a difference between the mk 6 and mk 5, or the mk6 and weihrauch? Nathan
  9. There is now that Zayn has left! Sorry...
  10. Just stumbled across this thread, these pouches look awesome! Just the kind of thing I would look for to buy when trying to refill my magazines on the go while walking around the farmyard. I think the magnetic strip seems a good idea, also means that you're less likely to forget about closing it properly! Black leather with contrast stitching I think would look nice... Oh and the price! Who could say no??
  11. I really don't like commenting on threads when they become like this, but can we at least say that Luke has obviously but some very good points forward, and that Winston now seems to be going round in circles trying to counter argue. I have personally found this forum very welcoming, and one of the best points is that no matter how 'qualified' people are at certain things, the vast majority seem open to sensible suggestions from anyone. I think they realize that people may have an appropriate solution, even if they don't have the badge to prove it. So maybe we can leave it at that? Just my thoughts on the matter...
  12. Get it from Weldon, they will probably knock the extra £2 off! Bagnall just seem ridiculously expensive most of the time
  13. I think that the low power setting is 70% of high power, but could be wrong
  14. Just about to say the same, pleased with Nitecore batteries, and you can get them in different capacities. As a bonus, they are also yellow!
  15. Can I ask where about on the pig farm you find the best place to shoot them? Can I ask where about on the pig farm you find the best place to shoot them?
  16. I have an SX3 and honestly can't really fault it! It cycles all my 28g 7.5 clay loads all the way up to 60g 3.5inch cartridges without skipping a beat! It's really rugged with no signs of wear and easy to strip down. I don't really have to keep it clean either, I only clean it when it starts spraying bits of stuff everywhere!
  17. I have a Cynergy 12 bore that I picked up recently and think its a great gun! I like the very innovative design, and to my eyes, can't see why they're not more popular!
  18. I have an Airwolf and really can't fault it too much! I haven't really had chance to compare it to the rest of the range though... If there was one downside it would maybe be that it was a little heavy, but it's so well balanced that you don't really notice it. The large, consistent shot count is such a nice thing to have, not even thinking about filling up or when it is at its peak in performance
  19. To be fair, just my opinion, but I seem to use mildots a lot with an air rifle. They make shooting quarry outside of your zero range much easier, as you know the exact distance each mildot corresponds to (if you learn it!). They are even better if you use the Hawke BRC app, makes learning the distances much easier!
  20. Recently went on one of my first solo outings on crows and jackdaws, and must have been beginner's luck as they were absolutely dedicated to the decoys! I had a hide set back in plenty of cover under a large tree, and 6 or 7 full bodied decoys, and my new Primos Power Crow, every crow and jackdaw seemed absolutely mesmerised! I also got what I think was my first left and right crow with my first two shots!

    Sling

HW682, yes exactly like that thanks! Lockstock, yes seems a Cheater would also be good, had a look at the forum linked and the company who makes them. Just to be on the safe side though, I thought I better order one of the other design from amazon, to cover all bases

    Sling

I remember seeing a video (think it could have been our own RSR Jerry), carrying his Daystate around with a sling that did not seem to need to be attached to any studs. It looked like it just looped around both ends, and synched up tight, securing the rifle. Any ideas of the name of this sling or am I just making it up? Thanks, Nathan
  23. Thank you, that's exactly what I wanted! Knew someone on here would know what I meant!
  24. I do a fair bit of feral pigeon shooting in barns, but I find that when it is light outside, and I am leaning into the barn, then I get some reflections on the ocular lens, meaning I can't see through the scope nearly as well! Now I was thinking that one of the rubber eyepiece things that HFT target shooters use may resolve this issue, but does anyone know there actual name, or where I can get one? Thanks, Nathan
  25. I have the mk 6 on my airwolf, and although I don't have any other mod to compare it to, it was still noticeably quiter with it on than just with the shrouded barrel. Actually, I think I have compared it with an SAK, and the mk 6 was as quite if not more quite!
