Bigden
“The next time you find yourself on a plane, sitting next to someone who cannot resist chattering to you endlessly, I urge you to quietly pull your laptop out of your bag, carefully open the screen (ensuring the irritating person next to you can see it), and hit this link "

Graham M
54321? its been about a while, methinks you would be thrown off the plane. You ain’t kiddin’. I watched an episode or Airport last year where a couple of chaps were asked what they had in the bag. One of them jokingly said “A shotgun†and they both laughed. Not the jobsworth of a desk clerk who immediately called for the airport police who then arrested them. They were taken to the police station and questioned for a length of time with both of them protesting that it was only a bloody joke. They were then both told that they were being refused permission to travel with the airline. They were lucky not to be charged and locked up. G.M. the last engineer
spot on mate, its not worth the trouble of causing any greif on a plane nowadays, the airlines almost have "licence to spill" anyone who dont fit their bill, i recall coming in from the UK 3 years back, during the flight the seatbelt sign came on with repeated warnings to sit down whilst turbulence were bucking the bird around, the captain got rather irrate with 2 familys parents and kids who thought running around was ok, when the ship docked in Calgary the RCMP in a not to friendly manner had all of them up against the wall and cuffed as we bisembarked, quite amusing realy, when your not on the recieving end . NorfolkBoy
BigDen....That looks great...I'm gonna try it tomorrow.... spot on mate, its not worth the trouble of causing any greif on a plane nowadays, the airlines almost have "licence to spill" anyone who dont fit their bill, i recall coming in from the UK 3 years back, during the flight the seatbelt sign came on with repeated warnings to sit down whilst turbulence were bucking the bird around, the captain got rather irrate with 2 familys parents and kids who thought running around was ok, when the ship docked in Calgary the RCMP in a not to friendly manner had all of them up against the wall and cuffed as we bisembarked, quite amusing realy, when your not on the recieving end . Martin In my experience they normally throw the plane around but blame turbulence in order to get you to sit down so they can then serve the meals..... and it seems to work...
