But you'd only need to send them the trigger group which isn't a licensable part so you can get it sent back to your door rather than having to go through RFD's and incurring their fees. I have to say replacing the lifter on an M2 is a pretty straightforward, if fiddly affair, even i've done it! As mentioned above.... gunrepair aka Ladbroke and Langton are good... I get them to do any shotgun stuff for me, including firing pins for my Blanch damascus hammer 12 or the gunsmith at Broomhills shooting ground has a good reputation too. Interesting you say that, my M2 has never had a stoppage prior to the welded lifter being fitted. Since fitting I've had the odd one or two. Perhaps the lifter is the reason. Sometimes it'd be once every few shots. I think it's just where the lifter was straight and lifting the shell too high. After reading through all the US 3 gun forums they all pretty much said the welded lifter has to be bent downwards slightly to stop the shell going too high. I'll get round to it at some point and see if it makes any difference as having the welding done really is a lot more comfortable Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
