ColinF
I'm looking for a part for a Franchi Falconet, it's the "extractor lever" in the forend. There are two on the gun, and it's the right hand one that I need. As far as I can tell, parts for this gun are now obsolete. Does anyone know of any gunsmiths who might have this part, or a scrap Falconet?

ColinF
I've tried UK Gun Repairs, but they can't help. I've read that the forend catches etc are a problem these, so there must be some scrap guns somewhere
Cranfield
I have a Franchi Falconet and would suggest you ring round your local Gunsmiths for odd spares. The forend catch on mine broke and I located a steel replacement locally, there is also a company in the US that makes forend steel replacements for Falconets. Thunderbird
Aah, the perennial problem of Falconet parts. Cranfield may be talking about the USA company called Carlsons, from whom I sourced a newly made forend catch plate for mine. You may well be right about finding alternative (to the catch plate) scrap parts, because the catch plate is the thing that goes most frequently. Good luck with your search. If you got your catch from a gunsmith, do you know if they still have the rest of the gun? I think the company in the US only makes the catch plates, not other parts. The part I am looking for was also fitted to the Franchi Alcione apparently
