Spike Chess
Local whisky shop have regular tasting sessions, this one was a special one, nomally a fiver a ticket, this one was £20. They put ticket money towards a £100-£125 bottle, the £20 ticket went towards a £160 bottle of Macallan and the £350 bottle of Caol Ila. Like i said love these nights great whisky with old and new friends. Edited July 19, 2014 by Spike Chess

Spike Chess
I have Talisker on order, only a 5 year old but very nice and under £45. My favorite is Lagavulin 16yo. Always a bottle of this in my house. An no that isn't an invite for you all to call for a tipple

loriusgarrulus
Sometimes Aldi and Lidl have some decent single malts in especially at Christmas. You have to get in early though. Gets emails of their special deals in advance. Very useful.
