Boromir
I heard on the radio a few months ago that if you have a good enough reason you could probably take a day off a week for say something like to go university, but I cannot find anything on it. Can anybody point me in the right direction or give me a link to a website please? Thanks
robbiep
https://www.gov.uk/training-study-work-your-rights Do note that this there are quitea few cases in which the right doesn't apply. It must be job related (in that it will help you do your job better), and there must be 250 or more people working in the organisation. It's usually unpaid, fees are usually your own responsibility. Even if you meet all the requirements, if there is a 'good business reason' then the employer can still refuse. Lots to read through, and the request needs to be very detailed, and completed in full, or it isn't valid
