trickyh
I had the chance to try this out a recent security show in London. http://www.flir.com/flirone/atPlay.cfm Its fairly low resolution, but because it combines the I phone camera image along with the thermal image it actually produces quite a good quality picture. FLIR have just released the price will be around $350, which is remarkably low for thermal imagers Does anyone see a use as a spotter/stalking tool? Redgum
It depends on its range/magnification. Thermal imagers are good for foxing and deer counts. ps had a look at the sales video, personally I wouldn't bother, just save up for a decent NV like pulsar R750 Edited August 12, 2014 by Redgum
malkiserow
depends on range surely? Their website shows campsite situations, I would have thought that would be inappropriately intrusive?
fieldwanderer
I'd like to try one for the fun of it but couldn't justify spending much on it, doubt I'd use it much
