propercartridges
well I have a few minutes to educate yous lot from down south there is very little powder for shotguns made in the uk so we have to import it and it is very costly to do so the post now says powder over the water so we have to try and buy it of the continent so how do you get it over the water in not so large quantitys and with all the people who were involved in cart making over the years I thought maybe somebody may be able to say of a firm or organisation of persons importing this type of goods used to get to heath end a lot when I was at deepcut thanks george
kent
Gosh I need to breathe to read, my brain was starved of oxygen half way and so I lost my memory of that which I just read, then just blurbed through the rest. I didn't think we made powder here? I suspect you will find importation not worth the bother over and above talking hard turkey with the existing distributer until you are far bigger. Could you take a container load at a time?
propercartridges
yes I could do 32 tons now that's 2 containers but its then the price of storage what is what I am trying to overcome the price door to door is approx. 8500 to 9000 euros for the freight of 16 tons which works out at aprrox56 cents then divide by say 1,23 for pound to euro about 45 pence per kilo yes overall that's cheap for freight so its the cost of where to put it and exactly what to buy as regards powders for 28 gram through to 40 gram so the money you r saving in bulk is then wiped out by storage and the possibility of buying the wrong powder so to cut a long story short I need approx. 1 ton per month at the moment
