Mr pigeon
Hi guys been researching the horses hoof or frog attractant for foxes. Having had 27 foxes off our 330 acre shoot since middle of may, one is playing hard ball. Just cannot get a bead on him whatever we try. So I thought I'd give it ago, man it smells and I haven't boiled it yet! Will let you all know how I fair in a month or so as the magic goo needs to ferment! Any hints or tips would be handy, cheers. steve_b_wales
I boiled the clippings outdoors in a clean galvanised bucket. I added enough water to cover the clippings, and added more as it simmered. Placing something over it as it simmers will allow the steam to collect underneath and drip back into the 'brew'. After boiling, I poured the liquid into clean 5ltr plastic containers, adding some of the clippings as well, and then stored it for many months. If the sun is shining, put the containers outdoors as that will help it ferment even more. It does work.
