will2490
I'm looking for an airgun for ratting and the odd bit of plinking and nothing more,so not looking to spend big bucks. PCPs never interested me anyway being truthful.. Anyway popped into my local RFD and took a shine to an old Anschutz break barrel. I have a rimfire and a shotgun, but this would be my first airgun and being honest I don't know a big amount about them. So basically what I'm asking is would it be worth getting? It's in great condition, but my worry is if spare parts were needed are they readily available with it being an older gun? Or does anyone know of any other issues they may have? Cheers! nighteye
Depends on the parts in question , e.g. a new spring should be no problem but sleeves , top hats etc could be costly. How much is it , as good condition secondhand air rifles can be purchased quite cheaply, and if you buy from the well known manufacturers, spares (in my experience) have never really been a problem. Pm with details on gun , model , age etc and i'll see what i can find out for you.
bruno22rf
If its a 335 or better still-the 335 s then buy it if its in good nick-I'm surprised that nobody has ever had one tuned because they are amazing rifles and as accurate as the best.
