Blackpowder
Interesting to see an obsolete caliber 14 bore for sale in the ads section. Disregarding the cost involved, would it be feasible to have say a 14 bore sleeved smaller to 16 or larger to 12 bore? Blackpowder PS not that I have one its mere curiosity. HDAV
Possible sort of, in a couple of ways, new barrels being one.

Gunman
It is usually OK to sleeve down a bore 14 to 16 ,16 to 20 etc. Each gun has to be treated on its individual merits . Sleeving up a bore size will only be possible if it is very heavy at the breech i.e. if the gun was a 12 bore but only bored and chambered to 14 ,which is unlikely . There are a couple of other considerations to be looked at but in most instances these are nothing major just a bit more work . I have "down sleeved " most bore sizes but only once sleeved up a very heavy weight 16 bore live pigeon hammer gun to a light weight 12 bore .If you want to go ahead PM me .
