Sleeving in different caliber

It is usually OK to sleeve down a bore 14 to 16 ,16 to 20 etc. Each gun has to be treated on its individual merits . Sleeving up a bore size will only be possible if it is very heavy at the breech i.e. if the gun was a 12 bore but only bored and chambered to 14 ,which is unlikely .

There are a couple of other considerations to be looked at but in most instances these are nothing major just a bit more work .

I have "down sleeved " most bore sizes but only once sleeved up a very heavy weight 16 bore live pigeon hammer gun to a light weight 12 bore .If you want to go ahead PM me .
