tony1
I have been told that its ok to put a air rifle scope on to a center fire rifle, I would have thought that the recoil would damage the scope sooner or later. Help?
Sako7mm
You could be lucky, but your gut feeling is likely to be right. Although no doubt someone will be along shortly to tell you that they have a Chinese £40 special on their .416 or .458 rifle which holds a zero perfectly, honest.... Scully
I have a special Chinese scope which cost me £40. I have used it on my .416 Rigby for donkeys and it holds zero perfectly.
Pigeon sniper
No but in all honesty I've been shooting an estate .243 with a hawke varmint scope for the last couple of years and it's been fine so it can work okay
