Scully
The last of these went out today thankfully. We now have 21 of these on our rough shoot, and the last two went out today, sheep, deer and badger proofed.....we hope. We have steadily been collecting them over the years and we have three left in reserve. They have replaced the white screen wash barrels we had previously, which we hung off trees and fences with rope, which as anyone who has used them will know, the weight tends to crack or tear around the handle eventually which lets water in. Despite being more than a little concerned in recent months that all our birds had done a runner, we are now seeing them in good numbers although the feeders are still hardly being used. Not long now.....can't wait.

Scully
Looks tidy, but are you feeding ostriches?! The angle of the pic' exaggerates the height of the spring, but yes, some are too tall; these are cut to length in situ.
