JDog
I am back in the house by 7:45 having taken the dogs out. On my walk I saw at least 2,000 pigeons in several flocks heading south. These birds were not at any great height. My guess is that even if I watched all afternoon I would see that not many, if any, of that number would make the return journey. ditchman
if its anything like what is happening here, and a couple of other places reported....they will be making a return trip inbetween 12.00-3.45........... .........that BIG flock i reported a couple of weeks ago of 20,000 odd has now split up and everyday i see 2-3000 go off to feed and then return.....the only thing that stops me shooting is the weather....if there is no wind the birds are out of reach for the 26" cylinder & 1/4 ....but today im taking out the A303 with Extra Full choke....to see if i can get onto them........... ...........let us know if they are settling into a routine down your way like they are up here !
