Paul in North Lincs.
we finished ferreting a fortnight ago.........................there are so many young about .................be carefull with those ferrtes flash....................................you can really spoil a ferret by entering tem when there are milky does and young underground....................invariably the does wont bolt as well through instinct to protect the young..............the ferrets can smash into a nest full of youngsters, and ultimately you'll end up digging for half of the day, or even worse get a ferret thats so 'wired up' thorugh all the easy kills that it kills, holds up and moves on in a short period. flash
sadly the area we were going ferret was saturated, so now bolts, also found either a badger or fox **** in in one of the rabbit holes(to small for it to actually get in), it was fresh and may have put the wind up on the rabbits. oh well theres allways next time cheers flash
