mick miller
So, the majority of the footage filmed in this clip is using Darren's 5k plus high-def digital camera with small clips of heavily cropped Atom footage at 40 yards, which, to my eyes looks a little bleached out in places. I'm not getting very excited at all for £500! And err, what's it like without the 'high powered illuminator' and just a regular torch IR? mick miller
He also didn't put up much actual atom footage, it was mostly Filmed with a very costly, dedicated HD camera, which is a little misleading as the casual observer will assume that this is footage through the atom, which it ain't. No mention of the illuminator, maybe a bosch aegis. As I said, I'll reserve judgement until I see actual unit footage, using a torch IR at ranges of greater than thirty yards before making any value judgements. aris
The footage with the square frame and the illuminated reticle in it - looks like a camera was positioned in front of the Atom - you can see slight vignetting in the corners.
